♫ What ya gonna be on Halloween?♫

Halloween, the fabulous Holiday where you get to pretend to be anyone! A princess, a superhero, a robot! You name it you get to be it. I love Halloween because it generally is about the kids...well and of course the parents "inspecting" the candy. Honestly I think Ted and I have "inspected" more then our fair share of the girls candy, and let me tell you each and every piece was perfectly safe and delicious!
This year the girls wanted to be superheros again. Harley is Bat girl and Hayley was Robin. You have to love the super hero duos. I don't know how I'll feel when they finally decide it's just no longer cool to dress a like. But until that time I will enjoy the dynamic duo!

Super Hayley, away!

A change in season...

So maybe, just maybe the seasons haven't changed in the sense of the leaves falling, or the air becoming crisp and ready for cute boots and sweater season. But the season has indeed changed at the Reedy Zoo. And what in the world do I mean by this you ask? Well I shall tell you, school started but this year school did not only start for Ted, but also for Harley! That's right, Harley is now a preschooler!
Harley is so excited to be in school, the night before school started she sat out her outfit on her chair, told me exactly which hairstyle she wanted, and then insisted we paint her nails to perfectly coordinate with her outfit. *pink with crackle silver polish over* We also had to set her lunch pale out so that it would be ready in the morning and that it wouldn't be forgotten.
Little did I know that this would be a nightly tradition. Again tonight she sat out her outfit, chose her hair style and insisted yet again that her nails must be painted to coordinate her outfit this time orange with a pink crackle. What can I say the kid has style and she definitely knows what she likes.
Ted is back at the Skyline High School again this year. During the summer we were not certain if he was going to be at the same school but things seemed to fall into line at the very last second and worked out great. As busy as he is, Ted is getting to be home during the afternoons and it has been fantastic with him and I spending time together and with the girls.
Hayley is doing good, although now that Harley is in school she is often roaming around asking where Harley is. Hayley is in ballet and she adores it,most of the time she running around the house with an old pair of tap shoes on. She is talking all of the time, loves to giggle and keeps us running.

Yes it’s true our Hayley is 2!

Our little Hayley is 2,where in the world did time go…Hayley is such a sweet little girl, she loves dirt and bugs but also adores dolls and sparkle. She sings and dances just like her big sister any time she gets. She makes us laugh all of the time.

You are 4 and 4 is FUN!

Yet another year has passed and my NOT so little girl is turning 4. Harley is definitely made from sugar and spice and everything nice and maybe a little bit of sass *haha* Harley is forever dancing and singing. She continues to dance more then she walks, sing more then she talks. And tells me every day that she is a STAR.

A little while ago I had Harley answer some questions so that when I did her Birthday post, it would be her answers.

Harley we hope you have a fantastic 4th Birthday, full of dance parties, songs, giggles and fairy dust. You are an amazing little girl. Thanks for teaching mommy and daddy to dance every chance we get, sing as loud as we can. Giggle more often and enjoy the ride. Love you Harley Bear.

3 Year

Hip Hop…The Bunny Hop!

This Easter we went down to my grand parents house. It was a pretty fantastic day full of great food, WAY too much sugar, Easter egg hunts and the master on TV *yeah we live on the edge*
