A year in Review

A year in Review 2012!

In January, we had lots of dance parties. 

Ted was working at the High School, and working our private studio as well.

We also went with my family to see the ice sculptures up in Breckenridge. 

Hayley was switched into a big girl bed!

February: Phineaus and Ferb became the "new" favorite cartoon around our home. We had a couple photo shoots with the girls.  Harley decided to cut her hair, mommy cried! *Luckily she cut it underneath, so I could hide it*

In March my mom and Julie *her french foreign exchange student* came up to visit. Ted bought me wicked tickets! Harley had a class recital for dance. 

 April: Our sweet girl Harley turned 4 she had a party that friends and family came to! I also had a Birthday. Ted and I went and saw "Wicked" at the Buell. Ted was in "Oklahoma" at Candlelight. 

May: little miss Hayley turned 2, we spent far too much time at the park. Ted was still in Oklahoma. Teds mom and brother David, came down from Washington to come and visit us!

In June the Waldo Canon fire broke out in Colorado Springs, watching the news from afar was quite difficult! Seeing the place you grew up and call home burn is a very surreal experience. Harley had her first ever recital on stage! She tapped to "Cotton eye Joe." And they also did a finale dance, but I can not remember the song at the moment. Oklahoma ended!!!! We got to spend so much more time as a family! We had a family photo shoot!

In July our good friend Royal came into town, him and Ted celebrated their Birthdays together *they're born on the same day* Our little family spent a lot of time at the pool. National dance day happened. For the 4th of July we went to "estes lake" and borrowed a friends canoe.

In August we took the girls to the Denver zoo, we had our studio recital. Ted went back to school to teach. And Harley started Pre-K.

September, Ted opened the show for "Skyline Idol." The girls and I decided it was time to start making delicious baked goods!

In October the girls were Batgirl and Robin for Halloween. Ted had his first gig with "Red Cloud Road." Harley also had her first ever field trip to the pumpkin patch.

In November we went down to my parents for Thanksgiving. We decorated for Christmas. And closed the studio for a full week to enjoy Thanksgiving break!

December seemed to fly by with two full weeks off from school and our studio. Baking yummy Holiday treats, playing far too many games.

This year has been full of good, bad, hard, fun, love and laughter. We are so grateful for every opportunity that our little family has been given to grow. We are excited for 2013 and all of the adventure it has in store for us!
