Life is incredibly busy as usual here in the Reedy zoo, I keep thinking that maybe it will slow down but it seems like with each passing day brings more and more things to do.
We were able to spend a little time as a family before school started again and Ted goes MIA for at least the next several weeks. We went to the Denver zoo, I was probably more excited for this adventure then anyone else in the family due to the fact that I have lived in Colorado 20 some odd years and have NEVER been to the Denver zoo. It definitely did not disappoint. We all had a great time especially liked the tropical exhibit, it was pretty much grand. We have spent countless hours at the outdoor pools *at least before they closed*, built forts, had cook outs, and what would the Reedy house be without a dance party and a sing along thrown in there somewhere.
As for the individual updates...
Ted: Ted is doing great, BUSY but great...Joseph ended so we see him each night of the week now BUT school has started so he is one busy guy with classes, lessons, driving time, exercise, sub teaching, and whatever else comes his way to fill the time. He is in absolute heaven having his little girls back with him all the time. He often comments about how BIG Harley has gotten and how much fun they both are.
Harley: Harley is busy as ever, she is busy learning the sounds each letter makes and you'll often hear her running around the house saying "The A says "a' (as in at) the A says "a" everyletter makes a sound the A says "a". When she is not running around singing her alphabet she is singing something equally as exciting such as "Journey" to "Pavarotti" She still loves to be out side play pretending, swimming, dancing, and singing at every opportunity possible. She is now almost completley potty trained!!!!!
Hayley: Hayley is one busy little almost 4 month old. She rolls over she squeals loudly, giggles often, and smiles constantly. She is also now sitting up and tries very hard to scoot when she is on her belly. I have "scolded" her on many occassions telling her to slow down but she just gives me her ever cute Hayley grin and keeps going. While Hayley is one heck of a happy kid and way too much fun, she is also a champion temper tantrum thrower! If you even consider putting a hat on this child she will hold her breath and have a throw down, it is about the only thing in the world that really makes her mad.
Megyn: Megyn has been busy getting settled in our new home. Mostly she is playing games with Harley while holding/feeding Hayley, and cleaning all in at the same time. She is also our home maker in is getting our house settled whenever Harley feels in a participatory mood. Megyn is becomming an amazing mom (aka supermom) and loving raising our daughters who are beautiful, fun, and full of personality! We bought a gym membership at the Longmont Recreation Center and Megyn is going every morning (average 7am) to run/swim/etc. and loving it!!
Much Love,
Ted, Megyn, Harley, Hayley, Finny, and Carter.
